Megan's Law Registered Sex Offender Map

California's Megan's Law requires that certain information about sex offenders be made available upon request to members of the public, so that the public is better prepared to protect themselves and their children. The California Office of the Attorney General has developed a web site where citizens can review information about registered sex offenders.

Viewing Megan's Law Information at SDPD Headquarters

Citizens are encouraged to review the Megan's Law's Website by visiting www.MegansLaw.ca.gov. The website provides more specific information and in most cases a picture of the offender and the violations committed by the registrant.

Anyone who uses information contained in the Megan's Law database to commit a criminal act against another person is subject to criminal prosecution.
