Citys Urban Runoff Management Plan Now Available on the Citys Web Site SAN DIEGO - The Citys Urban Runoff Management Plan is now available on the Citys web site www.sandiego.gov. The Urban Runoff Management Plan is the Citys blueprint for its actions to protect and improve water quality of the ocean, rivers, creeks and bays in the region, and achieve compliance with the State Municipal Storm Water Permit. The Urban Runoff Management Plan has been posted to allow public access and understanding of the overall efforts of the City to improve water quality in San Diego. Implementing the plan is one of the six objectives of the Citys Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program to help improve water quality in San Diego. The Urban Runoff Management Plan was approved on Jan. 28, 2002, and is effective through Feb. 21, 2006.
