SAN DIEGO - All City of San Diego offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Presidents' Day.

Refuse and recyclables normally picked up the week of Feb. 17 will be collected one day later due to observance of the holiday. Collection of refuse and recyclables will return to the normal schedule beginning Monday, Feb. 24. The Miramar Landfill will be open on the holiday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Metered parking will not be enforced on Feb. 17, but all other parking restrictions will remain in effect and subject to enforcement, especially restricted parking zones in the beach areas, and under the jurisdiction of the Port of San Diego.

The Central Library and all other branch libraries will be closed. Book drops will remain open at all library locations.

Both Torrey Pines and Balboa Municipal golf courses will be open. Call local recreation centers and pools for their holiday schedules. For information on the operating hours of the City's lakes, call (619) 465-3474.
