Scripps Ranch Local Assistance Center Announces New Operating HoursSAN DIEGO - The Scripps Ranch Local Assistance Center, which has logged more than 3,500 visits by fire victims seeking federal, state, and local assistance since opening on October 29, announced new operating hours. During the holidays, the Center will feature certain services at varying times. The Center has received a gradual decline in visits by victims and various agencies have scaled down or closed on-site services accordingly. Remaining services include the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Scripps Ranch Civic Association and representatives from several City offices, including Council District Five, Development Services and Environmental Services. Holiday Hours: Effective December 26, normal operating hours will be: In early January, services will move from the current location at the Scripps Ranch Recreation Center to the City of San Diego's Scripps Ranch Community Service Center down the street at 11885 Cypress Canyon Rd. City offices will move during the week of January 5. The Federal Emergency Management Agency will close its on-site operations on January 9 and the U.S. Small Business Administration will move to the Community Service Center on January 10.
