City Offers Free Seminars for Small Businesses
Attendees will learn the ABC's of starting and growing a business
SAN DIEGO - The City of San Diego's Community and Economic Development Department, in partnership with the Small Business Development and International Trade Center at Southwestern College, is offering a FREE business assistance seminar to inform small business owners and entrepreneurs how to develop a small business into a successful enterprise.
The ABC's to Starting, Growing and Financing Your Business seminar will provide the basic tools to starting and growing a small business. Topics to be covered include: approaches to business ownership, business plan development, starting the business, market research, marketing, financing, and alternative funding sources.

The seminar will also include information about the various programs and services provided by the Community and Economic Development Department, as well as other local, state and federal programs that provide technical assistance and funding for the small business community.
