CITY OF SAN DIEGO LAUNCHES NEW PROGRAM TO INFORM CITIZENS
SAN DIEGO - This month the City of San Diego is launching "Cityscape", a program aimed at informing our citizens. "Cityscape" is a half hour show which focuses on City services. It is intended to be very consumer friendly. Each show will guide our viewers to City services and information. It will air every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. beginning September 14th. There will also be periodic broadcasts on the weekends. To find those, please check the website: www.sandiego.gov/citytv.
This month's program will feature the City's utility undergrounding program, the fire department's new helicopter, and Deputy Mayor Toni Atkins. We also will have a recurring segment entitled "Ask the Inspector". That segment is directed at homeowners who want to make improvements.
The City of San Diego will be airing a new "Cityscape" every month. Next month's themes will focus on domestic violence and disabilities. October is both Domestic Violence Awareness and Disability Awareness Month.
CityTV 24 will continue to produce informative programming that contributes to the City's goal of providing quality service. Our viewers will see that at the City of San Diego, it's always been about service.
