Mr. Lincoln greets an avid admirer at the North Clairemont Branch Library
The San Diego Public Library offers a wide array of services to children, teens and young adults.
- Please call your local community Library, or the Central Library's Children's Room at 619-236-5838, to find out what kinds of reading programs, story times, special events, homework assistance, and other special services are being offered.
- Many of the City's libraries have special staff for these services, called Youth Services Librarians. When you contact one of the City's libraries, ask for them for special assistance.
- The Central Library downtown has a teen center, called Teen Space, located on the second floor. Call (619) 238-6675 for more information.
- Each of our libraries has a large collection of picture books, easy readers, fiction and non-fiction, books on CD, music CDs, and DVDs of particular interest to children, teens, and young adults.
