Hurricanes Hot Topics Image

How are hurricanes formed?   How are they named? How are they categorized?   How can one prepare against a hurricane? Has global warming caused an increase in the number and intensity of hurricanes in recent years?   Some of these questions are easily answered, but others are subject to considerable debate.
