Neighborhood Partnerships, READ/San Diego
Since 1988, READ/San Diego has established over 200 community partnerships with churches, private companies, community-based organizations, government agencies, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers. Neighborhood learning centers provide extended hours and flexible scheduling for adults when they can't access one of the City's 35 libraries. These include:
Ballard Parent Center, Old Town
Clairemont Lutheran Church, Clairemont Mesa
CSSE (Center for Social Support and Education), Hillcrest
North County Learning Center @ Canyon Rim Apartments, Rancho Penasquitos
Second Chance, Encanto
St. David's Episcopal Church, Clairemont
St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Del Mar
St. Vincent de Paul Village, East Village
