2009 Summer Reading Program for Teens - Express Yourself @ Your Library

What's In It For Me?

A whole lot of fun, while expressing who you are without teachers looking over your shoulder. There are prizes, entertainment, activities, music and, of course, lots of great books! You also will continue to build your reading skills over the summer, which puts you ahead of the curve when you start school again in the fall.

Who Can Participate: Teens between age 13 and 18.

When: June 15, 2009 – August 15, 2009

Where: Participate at your local library.

How it Works: Teens sign up at their local library to read at least 10 hours between June 15 and August 15.

Those who participate receive rewards. (The Library reserves the right to substitute incentives.) Incentives include:
- Free Bookmarks
- Bodyworks (Natural History Museum) $2 off coupon. Offer ends July 31, 2009
Those who finish receive prizes including:
- Free Padre tickets (2 per finisher) and discounted tickets for the following Padre games in August: Sundays August 2th, August 9th, and August 23rd.
  ***Note: The tickets must be used on the day of the event. No substitutions. Limited quantities only.
- Coupons for Sammy's Pizza Messy Sundae
- Coupons for a Free Pretzel from Auntie Anne’s
- Daphne’s Greek Café Kids Token Meals
- Free admission to San Diego Natural History Museum
- Free admission to San Diego Air and Space Museum
- Free admission to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Museum
