Staff Contacts
Purchasing and contracting staff in the City of San Diego Purchasing & Contracting Department are grouped into two divisions: Goods & Services Procurement and Public Works Contracting. Procurement Contracting Officers focus on goods and services procurement, while Contract Specialists focus on public works contracting. Furthermore, the department houses the Equal Opportunity Contracting Program in which Compliance Officers focus on promoting diversity and equal opportunity in contracting by ensuring fair use of taxpayer dollars, enforcing anti-discrimination laws, supporting small and emerging contractors, and building strong partnerships within the contracting community.
