Storm Water Division

Outstanding Environmental Project Certificate

The Friends of the San Francisco Bay Estuary have awarded the Storm Water Division with a 2011 Outstanding Environmental Project Certificate honoring the Division’s statewide leadership role in the Brake Pad Partnership. The Partnership helped win passage of Senate Bill 346 which removes copper from vehicle brakes and will improve water quality and the health of marine life in California.
