The Work Ahead

The grant work falls into two primary areas of effort: Creek restoration and construction and environmental awareness and education. We will be involving the community in both of these efforts through six public workshops over the next two years. Both grants also fund water quality monitoring which will allow us to monitor what’s in the water upstream of our construction, restoration and education efforts and compare that data against what is found immediately downstream. It is the water that connects us and it is the water that will tell us how successful our efforts have been.
