Facilities Maintenance Division

Building Technician Assistant. Assist in performing variety of semi-skilled City building maintenance and repair tasks, and assist skilled trades in carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing. Qualifications: 18+ years old; some knowledge of building maintenance; good interpersonal skills; able to follow directions. Time Commitment: Varies; prefer 3-5 days/week; 4 6 hours/day.

Custodian Assistant. Help with custodial duties and light maintenance of City facilities. Qualifications: 18+ years old; basic custodial knowledge; simple maintenance skills; able to follow directions. Time Commitment: Varies; prefer 3-5 days/week; 4-6 hours/day.

Laborer/Utility Worker. Under supervision, assist with routine unskilled construction and maintenance tasks using manual and power tools. Qualifications: 18+years old; able to lift 25 lbs.; able to follow directions; basic construction knowledge. Time Commitment: Varies; 3-5 days/week.

Print Shop

Clerical Aide. Assist clerical staff in office functions such as filing, 10-key, data entry, answering phones. Qualifications: Knowledge of computers, Word & Excel programs; able to work independently, general telephone etiquette. Time Commitment: s1 day/week; 2-4 hours/day; 3-6 months.
