"San Diegans Waste No Water"

Official Rules
- Open to City of San Diego, Coronado, and Imperial Beach public, private and home-schooled 1st-6th graders.
- All posters must be drawn horizontally (landscape) on white poster paper cut to a size of 11" high by 17" wide.
- Students may use crayon, watercolor, poster paint, markers, ink, cut paper, tissue paper or fabric. Please do not use materials that may smear, crack or chip.
- Students must work on posters independently. Collaborated work (a poster created by two (2) or more students) will be disqualified.
- Only original artwork will be accepted. Computer-generated drawings will not be considered. Reproduction of popular cartoon characters or three-dimensional work will be disqualified.
- Posters will not be returned. They will remain the property of the City of San Diego and may be reproduced.
Contest Entry
Please make sure to attach the student entry form with tape to the back of each poster. Then paper clip posters, along with the class entry form and package them so that they remain flat. Deadline to enter is March 30, 2012.
Teachers may submit three (3) water conservation posters and one (1) recycled water poster that illustrate this year's theme, "San Diegans Waste No Water," to represent your class.
Art Teachers may submit four (4) posters to represent each class, and combination classes may submit four (4) posters per grade level.
