CITY COUNCIL PRESENT AWARDS TO K-6 GRADE WINNERS OF THE ANNUAL WATER CONSERVATION POSTER CONTEST
San Diego -- Congratulations to the winners of the Annual Water Conservation Poster Contest. City Council will present the awards at Horizon Christian Campus’ Sports Center on Monday, May 6, 2002 at 6:00pm. The Horizon Christian Campus' Sports Center is located at 5331 Mt. Alifan Drive in the Clairemont area near the intersection of Balboa and Genesee Avenues.
The contest challenged K-6 grade students to think about creative ways to save water and artistically express their ideas on paper. First and Second place winners will receive a U.S. savings bond, four tickets to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center and a recognition plaque. Third Place winners will receive tickets to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center and a recognition plaque. A list of the winners is on the accompanying page.
Winning posters will be on display May 6-10, 2002 in the lobby of the City Administration Building, 202 C Street, in downtown San Diego.
