Rate Increases Set for January 1, 2009
The San Diego City Council, on Nov. 17 and 18, 2008, approved adjustments to water rates. The new rates will begin on January 1, 2009. The new rates are designed to recover the increased cost charged by the County Water Authority for wholesale water; and a separate, temporary, water rate increase to fund the Indirect Potable Reuse/Reservoir Augmentation Demonstration Project.
