Conduct a Pop-Up event in Normal Heights on May 18, 2024, involving elementary-age and college students working with the community to engage in activities that show how alleyways can be greener, friendlier, and more connected to the human fabric of our city. Normal Heights' alleys comprise 30% of the street network. Through placemaking and age-friendly design this Pop-Up will be a demonstration that serves as a model for transforming other San Diego alleyways! AlleysInAction! is a World Design Capital entry.
