The Emergency Command and Data Center is the fire communications center for the City of San Diego as well as the Cities of Poway, Chula Vista, National City, Imperial Beach, and Coronado.  Staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the center answers 911 calls and is responsible for all medical, fire, and rescue operations in these cities.  

The Communications Division of San Diego Fire-Rescue includes the Emergency Command and Data Center, the Information Systems Staff, Data/Analytics Team, and GIS Staff.
