On March 13, 2018, the County of San Diego approved the plan for the Southeastern Live Well Center that will be located on Euclid Avenue and Market Street. The new Live Well Center will be replacing a small, more than 50 year old County of San Diego Family Resource Center that currently serves Council District 4 families in need at 4588 Market Street for a $74 million state-of-the-art center.
The upgraded 80,000-square-foot Center will house more than 300 employees as well as provide more than 1,000 construction employment opportunities to help build the site. This facility will create quality, well-paying jobs in Council District 4. Jobs to provide medical coverage and mental health assistance, jobs to support the youth, jobs to promote healthy living, and so much more.
