Director of Communications
Madeleine Baudoin Ghorashi serves as the Director of Communications for City Councilmember Joe LaCava. She has extensive experience supporting several successful public affairs plans in the various roles she has served: as an advisor to elected officials; leading the federal affairs portfolios for Biocom California; Corporate Partnerships at MHS; and leading the government and public affairs department of AMR San Diego. Additionally, she is a Qualified Mindfulness Teacher and founder of mindfulness, an organization dedicated to reducing stress and fostering self-discovery. She is the Board Chair for the San Diego Community Action Partnership, the region’s designated agency administering programs that empower economically disadvantaged communities. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Madeleine holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Communications and Public Relations from Emerson College and is also a Qualified Teacher of MBSR, having received her certificate from UCSD. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys her family, teaching and practicing mindfulness, skiing, tennis, going to the symphony, hiking, and traveling.
