Singer Sofia Brook
Sofia Brook has performed popular classical songs at City and State events, especially those dedicated to honoring the service of our heroes -- veterans, first responders and military. She is also a performer and a volunteer for California Veterans Homes and Voices4Heroes project. Among other events, she was the voice of SD youth to honor the veterans at the Spirit of 45 event at Balboa Park and to honor the heroes at USS Midway 9/11 Remembrance celebration this year.

Oliver Galang
Oliver started studying opera at the age of 44. His interest began when he first heard the song "Time to Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli. He looked online for "the best opera teachers in San Diego" and found Aleksandr Agamirzov, a famous Russian opera tenor who has sung all over the world and won many competitions. Oliver has performed throughout the region, including the La Jolla Symphony Chorus, and San Diego Spreckels Organ Society.

Each year, the member Houses of the HPR elect Queens and Princesses to reign for one year. The Sea Monks
The Sea Monks play a good-time mix of rockabilly, honky tonk, and blues. Noah Kapchinske (age 17) fronts the band, and his younger brother Kai (age 14) rocks the drums. Dad Jason plays bass and “Uncle” Jeff Houck is a wizard on guitar. This young family band has already played venues such as San Diego’s Casbah and Austin’s Continental Club, and they’ve opened for national acts including Dale Watson and Rosie Flores. Put on your dancing shoes, whip out your can of jive sauce, and come party with The Sea Monks!

The Mad Hatters
The Mad Hatters are a teen pop/rock band from San Diego. They've officially been together for four years and most have known each other since kindergarten. They play multiple genres including covers of classic rock, modern pop, and some original material as well. Recent achievements include winning a Battle Of The Bands competition in June at Recreational Music Center in Liberty Station where they also take lessons. The band also earned a Junior Band slot at Point Loma's Summer Concert Series in July where they've qualified to play four years in a row!

The Chamorro people are the indigenous people of the Mariana Islands. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Choir San Diego, Inc. (MLKCCSD) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Kathryn Lillich
Kathryn Lillich is a renowned singer and folk harpist who has established herself as a highly sought-after and versatile musician. Classically trained in voice and piano, Kathryn discovered the Celtic harp when she was 17. She started performing just six months later and has since played at the Irish Fair, Southeastern Harp Festival, NAPA Music Festival, and more. As a singer, Kathryn has performed throughout the U.S., including Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl.

Billy Lee & The Swamp Critters
Billy Lee brings his native bayou roots of Cajun & Zydeco and New Orleans Funk to the stage that is guaranteed to raise get folks moving to his infectious groove. Mostly original songs, Billy has been commissioned to write such things as a theme song for SIX FLAGS theme park, tours Europe each year. Billy Lee uses tight three part harmonies, and utilizes fiddle, accordion, tifir, and scrubboard that brings you back to his native bayou land.

La Beat Cantina is a Mexican rock band formed in the summer of 2016 in Tijuana, Mexico. Their infinity of musical influences range from rock n'roll, blues to bolero, creating a canteen atmosphere in which resonate great artists of various genres like Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Rocio Durcal, Camilo Sexto, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, and Leonard Cohen among others played with the unique sound of the band.

Christmas Story Tree/Del Cerro Baptist Church
The Christmas Story Tree has been a 35+ year tradition at the Organ Pavilion, that tells the traditional Biblical story of Christmas through song and "still" dramatic scenes. The program includes a 33 foot Christmas tree that is both a lighting marvel and opens up as a stage to still scenes from the story of the Birth of Christ in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. A choir, that is made up of members many local churches and community members, and an orchestra tell the story through familiar Christmas Hymns and Carols along with a narrator.

Ballet Folklorico El Tapatio is a dance ensemble that was created in 2000 and formally established in 2008 at Bayside Community Center in Linda Vista. Naruwan TAiko practices "taiko," a style of drumming from Japan that was traditionally used in battlefields or festivals. Although the group practices a Japanese art form, the name Naruwan is actually a tribal Taiwanese Ami greeting which implies, "welcome," "home," and "family" and is something a person would say to someone close to them, like a family member. This name embodies the Naruwan's vision of the taiko as a tool for bringing together people of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences to produce a powerful united sound. Naruwan Taiko is currently teaching classes in San Diego and is in the process of building a full fledged school for the community!

The Christmas Story Tree has been a 35+ year tradition at the Organ Pavilion, that tells the traditional Biblical story of Christmas through song and "still" dramatic scenes. The program includes a 33 foot Christmas tree that is both a lighting marvel and opens up as a stage to still scenes from the story of the Birth of Christ in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago.
