Information for Software Developers
In addition to the website, we publish DSD data in a machine-readable format (XML) for those wishing to write their own applications, filter data, or convert data for use with other software.
Traditionally, DSD has provided lists of Approvals (permits) to subscribers in three flavors: Applications, Issuances, and Completions. We provide XML versions of the data in these reports for use in iterating through our real-time data.
DSD has provided an Application Programming Interface (API) to enable software developers to consume our data for their own or third-party applications. At this time, no API-key is required to access this data.
The objective of this case is to demonstrate how OpenDSD data can be used to answer questions and monitor impacts of code enforcement actions on an issue that impacts a San Diego community.
