Economic Development Tourism Support
The City's Economic Development and Tourism Support (EDTS) program provides Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) funds through a competitive merit-based application process to qualified nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations. Qualifying organizations produce significant programs and events that improve the City's economy by boosting tourism, attracting new businesses and increasing jobs in the area.
The general requirements and conditions for the allocation of TOT funding for the EDTS program are outlined in City Council Policy 100-03.
The EDTS application will generally be made available in December or January and then be evaluated by a review panel for several months. The panel's recommendations are submitted as part of the annual budget and considered by City Council during City Council budget hearings. The recommendations are finalized when the City's annual appropriation ordinance is adopted in June or July.

Applicants will be required to submit their applications electronically using SeamlessDocs before the noon deadline on March 29, 2017. A link to that portal will be available soon.
