Join our partner, I Love A Clean San Diego, on Thursday, April 25 at 11 a.m. for our free Simple Swaps: Sustainable Alternatives to Single-Use Plastic webinar to learn what happens to plastic after we throw it in the trash and how to properly recycle or dispose of plastic waste. Trash Truck Storytime: Clairemont Library

The Environmental Services Department (ESD) is pleased to partner with the San Diego Public Library for the Trash Truck Storytime Program. This in-person event at the Clairemont Library (2920 Burgener Blvd, San Diego, CA 92110) allows families to enjoy a storytime provided by the library, see a trash truck demonstration, meet a Collections Sanitation Driver and have a photo op in the truck. An ESD representative will be on site with educational materials and to answer questions about recycling, organic waste recycling and trash.

Join our partner, I Love A Clean San Diego, Wednesday morning for a FREE clothing swap at the Mission Village Christian Fellowship (2650 Melbourne Dr San Diego, CA 92123) on Wednesday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join I Love A Clean San Diego in making fashion circular, by trading your clothes, accessories, and shoes. No registration is required, and walk-ins are welcome. Please bring up to a grocery bag full of donations that are lightly used with no rips, stains or odors.
