Residential Organic Waste Recycling Start Date

green bin with organic wasteThe City is working to add food scrap and yard collection service to San Diegans. The new service will be rolled out over many months with residents receiving ample notification prior to the start date.

Notifications and instructions will be distributed announcing the official program start date. Until then, please continue your regular waste and recycling collection process. Thank you.

Customers with Green Bins

Please continue to discard yard waste only into your green bin. Please do not add food scraps until you are notified.
