Mayor Faulconer & Cleantech San Diego Present the First-Ever Clean-Energy Report on San Diego Region
New Report Highlights How San Diego is a National Leader in Clean Technology

San Diego, CA – Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer joined Cleantech San Diego and Clean Edge, a national research firm that offers indexes, benchmarking reports and analysis on clean-energy, to release the first-ever San Diego Clean Tech Landscape Report, which details key trends, successes and opportunities in San Diego’s clean tech sector.
Over the last several years, the San Diego region has become a cleantech marketplace leader, rising from the 11th-ranked metro in 2012 to fourth in 2015, according to Clean Edge reports. This new report from Cleantech San Diego for the first-time highlights how the San Diego region is especially strong in green buildings, clean vehicles, renewable energy, and venture capital invested in cleantech industries.
