As Budget Review Process Begins, Mayor Showcases Potential of One San Diego Reforms

San Diego, CA – As the City Council budget review process begins this week, Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer and Councilmember Myrtle Cole unveiled the dramatic transformation of an infrastructure project that is emblematic of the reforms under the mayor’s proposed One San Diego budget.
The nearly $2 million Holly Drive Street Improvement Project enhances the safety and walkability of Holly Drive between South Willie James Jones Avenue and South Euclid Avenue in City Council District 4. The key infrastructure project includes a new drainage system, speed bumps to slow traffic, upgraded and additional street lights, decorative fencing and sidewalks.
