San Diego, CA – Reaffirming his commitment to building One San Diego, Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer joined City Councilmember Myrtle Cole and Fire Chief Javier Mainar to turn an abandoned gas station into the first fire station in Skyline Hills.

The new Temporary Fire Station No. 51, located at 7180 Skyline Drive and across from the Southeastern Police Substation, will help enhance the safety of residents in the community and surrounding areas. The new 1,440-square-foot state approved mobile unit will include dormitory rooms for four fire fighters and a 1,350-square-foot structure to house a fire engine.
