Faulconer Celebrates the Addition of 100 New Jobs from One of America's Fastest-Growing Companies

SAN DIEGO — Working to promote San Diego’s innovation economy and support jobs and opportunities for every resident, Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer joined the San Diego Regional EDC to open the new headquarters of Bizness Apps and celebrate the creation of 100 new tech jobs in San Diego.
Recently named by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the America, Bizness Apps is a mobile platform that allows small businesses to easily create, edit and manage mobile apps and mobile websites online. Formally a San Francisco-based startup, Bizness Apps also considered Seattle and Austin for relocation. In a recent TechCrunch OpEd, Bizness Apps CEO Andrew Gazdecki explains that he chose to move Bizness Apps to San Diego because of the local talent pool and called San Diego “the tech haven of tomorrow.” Bizness Apps intends to hire 100 employees within the next 8 to 12 months.
