Founded in 2006 in Boston, the Startup Leadership Program is a highly selective, global training program for founders, leaders and innovators who want to become startup CEOs. It has grown to 28 cities, including a San Diego chapter, in 13 countries. Each year 15 to 25 SLP Fellows join the program in each city. To qualify, Fellows must have demonstrated a proven record of leadership and achievement and aspire to run a startup, be an innovator/idea generator who wants to turn an idea into a company or be a venture capitalist who wants to connect with entrepreneurs. SLP Fellows have founded more than 1,300 successful startups and raised more than $500 million in funding.
