Azalea Park Seniors
Azalea Park would like to invite senior citizens living in the City Heights neighborhood to meet people, be creative, and stay active. For more information, call Azalea Recreation Center and ask for Christian.

History of the Center
The center was built in 1972 and serves the recreational and leisure needs of children and adults living in the densely populated area of Azalea Park in City Heights.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 805 North take the Home Avenue exit and turn right. Turn left on Fairmount Avenue. Turn left on Poplar Street, which will curve into Violet Street. Remain on Violet until you see the recreation center ahead.
From Interstate 805 South take the Home Avenue exit and turn left. Turn left on Fairmount Avenue. Turn left on Poplar Street, which will curve into Violet Street. Remain on Violet until you see the recreation center ahead.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 13 and 965.
