Electronic Community Orientation Workshop (E-COW)
E-COW is an interactive online training that outlines the roles and responsibilities of the community planning volunteers as they relate to Citywide planning issues, community plan preparation, and the development and regulatory processes of the City.
As a community planning group volunteer, it is essential that you understand your role and responsibilities as outlined in Council Policy 600-24 and this training.
Please set aside approximately two (2) hours to complete the E-COW training. Since E-COW doesn't allow you to save your progress, you must take the training in its entirety before closing. Otherwise, you'll have to start at the beginning when you re-open the training.
PLEASE READ: By checking the box below, I accept my responsibility as an elected Community Planning Group Member to read and complete the following Electronic Community Orientation Workshop Training. I understand that taking this training and acting in accordance with Council Policy 600-24 and my approved Community Planning Group Bylaws are required in order to be indemnified under City Council Ordinance O-2009-96 - An Ordinance Providing for the Defense and Indemnification of Community Planning Groups.
