MHPA Baseline Map

City of San Diego MHPA Map ? This page will link you to the Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP), Multi-Habitat Planning Area (MHPA) Baseline Map. This Map consists of the original 1997 adopted MHPA hard line layer registered to 1992 aerial photography at 1:24,000 scale overlaying the most recent ortho-topographic and parcel information (typically current each calendar year).

This MHPA Baseline Map represents the overall area from which approximately 90% will be conserved to make up the final MSCP preserve area at the end of 50 years. Note that the MSCP Preserve area is being actively assembled and is not shown on this site. Note: The final MSCP Preserve Area is subject to Boundary Line Adjustment(s) and MSCP Annual Reporting to the Wildlife Agencies via Habitrak which depicts habitat gain (conserved)/loss (not conserved) changes related to project development. The latter gain/loss information is available from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife?s (CDFW?s) ?Habitrak? Database.
