            <title>Pole Removal Ceremony for Project Block 1R, University City</title> 
            <link/> 
            <description><![CDATA[The City of San Diego's <a href="http://www.sandiego.gov/undergrounding/">Utilities Undergrounding Program</a> marks another milestone as the final pole is removed for a project located in a University City neighborhood.  In April 2009, work began to underground the utility lines along Pennant Way between Stresemann Street and Regents Road.  The project placed 3.4 miles of overhead utility lines underground for 448 properties at a cost of $7.5 million.<br><br>
