The plan update process includes extensive community input and involvement through public workshops, community plan update committee meetings, and informational presentations. Links to the public meeting notices are posted in the left-hand column.

The structure for community participation and developing the Update is a community driven approach, with many opportunities for the community to provide valuable input and assistance in shaping a consensus-based plan that reflects the community's unique combination of values, interests, and needs. The San Ysidro Community is encouraged to voice their ideas or concerns at every public meeting, including the Update Committee meetings, workshops, and all other publicly-noticed meetings.
