Short Term Residential Occupancy (STRO) Licenses
(Updated October 29, 2018)
On Monday, October 22, 2018, City Council voted to rescind the Short Term Residential Occupancy (STRO) Ordinance that was approved on July 16, 2018. The City has begun working with stakeholders to develop a new STRO Ordinance that protects neighborhoods through increased oversight and enforcement. In the meantime, staff will continue to enforce existing laws against noise and other quality-of-life crimes and ensure hosts are registering and paying the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT).
