Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get information regarding impounded devices?

To get information on where to retrieve impounded devices, send an email to mobilityimpounds@sandiego.gov

Are our shared mobility devices blocking street sweeping activities?

Street sweepers collect and remove paper, leaves and other visible debris that collect in the gutters, which can block storm water facilities, causing localized flooding during heavy rains. Street sweeping also removes metal particles and other hazardous waste products left by passing vehicles. To ensure safe, clean streets and to coordinate how you mobilize and stage shared mobility devices, review the City of San Diego Master Street Sweeping Schedule.

Is the insurance requirement amount flexible?
