Water Quality: Taste and Odor Issues

Taste and Odor Event Update - With high water demand due to the elevated temperatures and active fires in the region, it has become necessary for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California to distribute some of the water containing elevated taste and odor compounds. As a result, over the next few days, customers may once again notice a moldy or musty taste and odor in your drinking water. As noted previously, there are no health issues related to this water; only the flavor and/or smell are affected. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
