Discrimination Complaints

Discrimination is the process of making unfair or prejudicial distinctions between people based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they belong or are perceived to belong, such as race, gender, age, religion, physical attractiveness or sexual orientation.

The Commission records, investigates, resolves, or refers citizen complaints of discrimination, bias incidents, and unfair treatment, as appropriate.  The Commission reports, advises and assists the Mayor and City Council in efforts to provide equal opportunity and access to all.
