Helping Residents Affected by Recent Storms Access Essential Services

Teams from the City of San Diego have been going door to door, daily, to survey residents affected by the recent storms, including Southcrest, Shelltown, Mountain View, Mount Hope, Grant Hill, Encanto, Skyline, Webster, and Rolando.

They aim to assess how the storm impacted residents and identify any needs they may have. The information collected has helped the City better determine resource allocation and ensure that residents’ needs are being addressed.

Additionally, the City has transitioned its Local Assistance Center to an online resource hub, helping residents access services offered by the City, County of San Diego, State of California, federal government and non-governmental agencies.

Residents can access this online Recovery Assistance Center at sandiego.gov/recovery.

Assistance will be available to anyone in need of in-person or digital support. In-person assistance will be available at the Mountain View/Beckwourth Library, 721 San Pasqual Street, on Tuesdays from noon to 7 p.m., and Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
