As your Mayor, I am driven every morning to make our city a better place for all of us. At the end of every day, I strive to be proud of what we have accomplished. Together, we will bring equity to all our neighborhoods, make housing more affordable for working families, bring forward real solutions to homelessness, boldly implement our Climate Action Plan, and transform San Diego into not just a "fine" city, but a truly great city.
District 1 includes the communities of Carmel Valley, Del Mar Heights, Del Mar Mesa, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Pacific Highlands Ranch, Torrey Hills, Torrey Pines, and a portion of University City west of the I-5.

District 2 includes the communities of Clairemont, Mission Bay, Mission Beach, Old Town, Midway, Ocean Beach, and Point Loma.

District 3 includes the communities of Balboa Park, Bankers Hill/Park West, Downtown, Golden Hill, Hillcrest, Little Italy, Mission Hills, Normal Heights, North Park, Old Town, South Park and University Heights.
District 4 includes the communities of Alta Vista, Emerald Hills, Encanto, Skyline Hills, Lincoln Park, Lomita Village, North Bay Terrace, Oak Park, Paradise Hills, Redwood Village, Rolando Park, South Bay Terrace, Valencia Park and Webster.

District 5 includes the communities of Black Mountain Ranch, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Miramar Ranch North, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Encantada, Rancho Peñasquitos, Sabre Springs, San Pasqual, Scripps Miramar Ranch and Torrey Highlands.
District 6 includes the communities of Convoy District, Kearny Mesa, Miramar, Mira Mesa, Scripps Ranch, Sorrento Valley, and University City.
District 7 includes the communities of Allied Gardens, Del Cerro, Grantville, Linda Vista, Mission Valley, San Carlos, Serra Mesa and Tierrasanta.
District 8 includes the communities of Barrio Logan, Egger Highlands, Grant Hill, Logan Heights, Memorial, Nestor, Ocean View Hills, Otay Mesa East, Otay Mesa West, San Ysidro, Sherman Heights, Stockton and Tijuana River Valley.

District 9 includes the communities of Alvarado Estates, City Heights, College Area, College View Estates, El Cerrito, Kensington, Mountain View, Mt. Hope, Rolando, Southcrest and Talmadge.
The San Diego City Attorney serves the citizens of San Diego as both its Chief Legal Adviser and its misdemeanor prosecutor.
The City Clerk administers City elections, maintains all official City records and distributes agendas and minutes of Council meetings.

The Independent Budget Analysts duties include the review and analysis of the Mayor's Proposed Budget and legislative actions of the City Council.
The City Auditor provides accurate, independent, and objective audits and investigations that seek to improve the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of City government.
