How do I experience Park Social?

Park Social is conceptualized as an outdoor experience happening in stages where you check the schedule to identify the dates/times of events, installations and happenings to plan your visit. You can check-out one project or visit as many projects and events as you choose over the course of the initiative – it’s up to you. Where is Park Social?

At parks across the city of San Diego. The locations are available on the Park Social Map (see above). This is the easiest way to navigate to projects and events.

Love Your Park

Park Social is committed to minimizing impact on the park system in the production of this initiative, and asks visitors to share this commitment when visiting parks. Throw your garbage in designated trash receptacles, pick up anything you bring, and follow all park hours and regulations.

How much does it cost?

Park Social projects and events are free and open to all.

Do I need tickets?

No tickets or reservations are accepted nor required.

What about social media?

Can I take professional photos or video shoots of the projects?

Professional and commercial photography and video shoots of Park Social projects are not allowed. In some instances, permission will be granted to requestors after obtaining necessary approvals from City and other copyright holders. To inquire, use the Media Inquiry form.
