Bayshore EasementItem 330 - 32nd Street Grade Crossing Signal and Surface Installation and Maintenance Agreement with SANDAG & Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for Bayshore Bikeway-Barrio Logan – This item would authorize an easement and a construction and maintenance agreement with SANDAG and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for the crossing improvements at 32nd Street of the Bayshore Bikeway through Barrio Logan into Downtown. The Grade Crossing Signal and Surface Installation and Maintenance Agreement will extend for a period of more than five years and per San Diego City Charter Section 99 requires an Ordinance approved by two-thirds vote of the City Council.

Item 1 - Application for State of California CalHome Program Funds - This item would approve the submission of an application to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for up to $5 million in funding from the CalHome General Program in support of the First-Time Homebuyer Program. The California Department of Housing and Community Development is responsible for administering the CalHome Program in support of homeownership and makes grants to experienced local public agencies and nonprofit corporations to assist individual households. The program goal is to enable households earning no more than 80 percent of Area Median Income, currently $104,100 per year for a family of four in San Diego, to become homeowners.
