Item 200 - Amend Sole Source Contract For OpenGov, Inc. to Extend for a One-Year Period With a One-Year Option Renewal
This Transportation Department requests approval to modify the current Sole Source Agreement #4532 with OpenGov, Inc. to extend the agreement for one additional year, with one optional one-year renewal, through September 8, 2028. This is for continued use of the Cartegraph’s pavement management software and associated cloud-hosted services. If the optional year is exercised, the agreement will have a total duration of seven years.
The Transportation Department requires uninterrupted access to the pavement management system to support pavement preservation planning, street conditions assessments, pavement conditioning indexing, project prioritization, work programming, performance reporting, and coordination with the City’s annual paving program.
Item S400 - Award 5-Year Contract with Vulcan Materials Company to Furnish Paving Materials and Asphalt Concrete (ITB No. 10090514-26-C, As-Needed Asphalt Contract)
This item will award a five-year contract to Vulcan Materials Company to furnish Paving Materials and Asphalt Concrete. The action will also authorize expenditures associated with this contract not-to-exceed $60,000,000.00.
The contract provides asphaltic materials to the City of San Diego Transportation, Public Utilities, and Stormwater Departments to furnish all labor, plant equipment, and materials for the mixing of aggregate and asphalt binder at a central mixing plant, and loading the mixture into trucks furnished by the City at either the plant or at a satellite storage facility, all as specified within the contract provisions.
