Alessia Ramos

Intern

Alessia Ramos is an intern with the Commission on Police Practices, where she supports the organization's mission of promoting accountability, transparency, and public trust enforcements. In this role, she assists with administrative coordination, communication with commissions in criminal justice and public service. 

Alessia completed her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and is currently finishing her remaining coursework to complete her bachelor's degree requirements. She has also been accepted into the Master of Science in Criminal Justice program at California Baptist University, where she plans to further develop her knowledge of criminal justice, public safety, and investigative practices.   

Her academic background and professional interests are centred on criminal justice, law enforcement, and community engagement. Through her internship, she has strengthened her organizational, communications, and professional skills while gaining insight into civilian oversight and police accountability. 

Alessia is committed to a career in federal law enforcement and aspires to become a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She is dedicated to serving her community with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to justice.
