Since our first day in office, we have advocated to update the Hickman Field Athletic Area – in need of major repairs and upgrades – and we need your help again. The Active Transportation & Infrastructure Committee meeting on Thursday, June 24, is the last opportunity to advocate before the final full City Council hearing – log on or call in to ensure your voice is heard!

Hickman Fields Athletic Area
Hickman Fields Athletic Area/S00751: Scope of work includes multipurpose fields, irrigation upgrades, security lighting, a multiuse aquatic complex, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, parking and lighting, children’s play area, and comfort stations / concession stands.
Project Cost: $10.5 million / $2.5 million unidentified
Schedule: Preliminary design began in 2007 and finished in 2015. Phase 1 design began in FY17 and was completed in FY21. Expected to go out to bid at the end of June.
