CONNECT with the CityCriminal Diversion Program Reduces Recidivism
An independent evaluation of the City Attorneys Office Community Justice Initiative confirms that it reduces crime by allowing low-level misdemeanor offenders to have their cases dismissed in exchange for community service. Service has included planting trees, recycling, wiping out graffiti, and cleaning public lands.
