Guillermo A. Castillo serves as a Policy Advisor to San Diego City Councilmember Jennifer Campbell. In this role, he advises on key issues including homelessness, the city budget, and airport-related matters. Guillermo also oversees constituent services for the Old Town neighborhood, working closely with residents and stakeholders to address local needs and concerns.

Guillermo earned his Master of Public Administration from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service, where he focused on Non-Profit Management and Policy, with an emphasis on Advocacy and Political Action. His background reflects a deep commitment to public service, civic engagement, and responsive government.

He continues to stay grounded in community work, currently serving as a Commissioner on the City of Chula Vista's Charter Review Commission. Prior to joining the City of San Diego, Guillermo worked as a District Aide for Congressman Juan Vargas (CA-52), where he supported constituent services and community outreach across the district.

A strong believer in a government that works for everyone, Guillermo is dedicated to finding equitable and practical solutions that uplift underserved communities and improve the quality of life throughout the region.
