Trick - Or - Treat on India Street
We are welcoming back our favorite Halloween tradition, Trick-or-Treat on India Street! On Sunday, October 27th from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. Little ghouls and goblins of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes and enjoy an evening of authentic trick-or-treating with their families. Little witches and monsters will be able to stop door-to-door and get delicious Halloween treats and candy from participating Little Italy businesses along the historic India Street.
Maps of participating businesses will be available as the trick-or-treat fun happens at the Piazza della Famiglia on India and W. Date Street. You wont want to miss out on this years fun!

2024 Dia de Los Muertos Procession & Street Market
The annual Dia de Los Muertos will be celebrated in Old Town on Saturday, November 2 and Sunda, November 3, 2024. This free event, San Diego's most popular, will include a lively street market during the day as well as the traditional candlelight procession starting at sundown, beginning in front of the Immaculate Conception Church, located at San Diego Avenue and Twiggs Street. The procession will travel down San Diego Avenue to El Campo Santo Cemetery.
Many restaurants, businesses, museums, and shops will be creating traditional and contemporary Dia de los Muertos ofrendas (altars). Unique ofrendas will honor historic Old Town figures, as well as more current stories. A public ofrenda will be set up in El Campo Santo where visitors are encouraged to add their own mementos, photos, and written tributes to loved ones.

Barrio Logan College Institute Soccer Tournament, Hosted by the Iranian American Bar Association
Join the Iranian American Bar Association and the Barrio Logan College Institute (BLCI) this November for an action-packed soccer tournament to kick off the end of the summer season in San Diego.
Were kicking off the day with friendly soccer competition for both adults and kids, so theres fun for the whole family! And when you need to refuel, the Mr. Greek food truck will be serving gyros and other Mediterranean goodies.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to supporting the BLCI in its college readiness model for students in underprivileged communities. To date, 100% of BCLI students have enrolled in college. Our goal is foster that mission with your attendance or participation, and we hope to see you there!

Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial is one of the most unique veterans' memorials in the Nation and stands high on La Jolla's, Mt. Soledad, offering panoramic views of San Diego County. It is the only memorial that honors veterans, living or deceased, from the Revolutionary War to the current war on terrorism, with an image of the veteran. Over 6,000 black granite plaques are mounted onto the curved walls honoring our United States veterans.
